UNITED NATIONS EVENTS with Shiloh Sophia

WOMEN TURN ARTS & CULTURE INTO ECONOMIC RESOURCES & PERSONAL SUSTAINABILITY

Date: 13 March - You can now watch the video of Shiloh's Panel HERE. Sharing on FB is also appreciated if inspired.

Time: 2:30 PM

Venue: Armenian Cultural Center Room: Yerevan Hall

This Panel builds on a Women & Arts Panel at CSW 60 that had standing room only, even at 8:00 am! This CSW 61 Panel will show how women artists, poets, photographers+ have followed their talents and passion to turn arts and culture into economic empowerment, and have, at the same time, found personal resilience and sustainability for themselves and other women. Their creative works are interwoven with heart and soul. They will draw the audience participants into the presentations with examples how women in the arts, can reach the pulse points of women and girls across borders, across development issues, across generations, in this complex and volatile world. Art and culture of women can bond, uplift, heal, and advocate!

REVISIONING at UNCSW +
Free Intentional Creativity Workshop: "Working with your Business from the Heart of the Feminine"

Date: 21 March

Time 6:15pm

Venue: Church Center of the United Nations, 2nd floor.

REVISIONING - Our experiential workshop will guide guests to revision their current economic plan and create a new one guided from the heart. The Re-Visioning Process has been taught at university and global programs to all different sectors and levels of business development. The process is based in identifying the 8 primary aspects which create a business - and bringing them into language which speaks to the heart and soul of women, and those that they serve. The importance of each woman guiding the future lies in her access to her own voice.

Too often our plans for the work we do are based on filing a need that has to be put into language that governments or funders can understand. This process will invite a revisioning and each guest will leave with a plan that lights her up, while at the same time being practical in implementation.

Re-Visioning is rooted in an understanding that empowered women will be leading the future. And that if each woman has clarity in language, plus an action plan, she has more of a chance of bringing her vision into form. This hope of this session is to bring form to the dreams of the women who do the work. We will explore 8 areas – from the client all the way to the finances in a guided process and discussion.

Stay up to date on schedule

Dear One,

We are thrilled to be going to New York again this year. This will be our 5th year, making it one of our annual trips.

We will be hosting a workshop inspired by FRIDA and visiting some of her original paintings - I will be joined by Emily Grieves who I have co-taught with for two years,  We will be in Connecticut with Guild Member, Carole Thomassy for a poetry reading and Red Thread Circle and have a poetry reading in New York for Tea with the Midnight Muse.

We are a part of two panels right now for UNCSW where we will be presenting and bringing Intentional Creativity and the Red Thread. There is no need to confirm for these, and all are welcome. We'd love to have you for our free workshop on March 21st. Details below.
